Cookie statement

Effective May 26, 2026. This Cookie Statement explains how the public Rastro website uses cookies and similar browser-side storage technologies.

What we mean by cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files placed in your browser. Similar technologies can include local storage, session storage, SDK-based identifiers, and scripts that collect browser or device signals without placing a traditional cookie. This statement covers the public site at www.rastro.ai and the public pages and workflows delivered from it.

What the current site uses today

Site delivery and security features required for normal hosting, routing, and abuse prevention.
Vercel Web Analytics via /_vercel/insights/script.js for aggregate site usage reporting.
Google Ads and optional GA4 tags for paid-search attribution, conversion measurement, and aggregate campaign reporting when these tags are enabled in the site environment.
Local storage and a first-party attribution cookie that remember recent UTM parameters, GCLID/GBRAID/WBRAID values, referrer, and landing page so demo redirects can carry campaign context.
Optional browser local storage for a LOG_LEVEL debug preference, but only if a user or developer explicitly sets it in the browser.
Standard browser storage or cookies that may be introduced by third-party sites after you leave rastro.ai and follow an external link.

What we did not observe in the current implementation

As of May 26, 2026, the site includes optional Google Ads and GA4 tag plumbing that activates only when the relevant public environment variables are configured. When enabled, those tags may set or read cookies and similar identifiers for attribution and conversion measurement.

That observation does not mean your browser will never receive a cookie in every environment or future release. Hosting, security, embedded third-party content, or later product changes can alter browser behavior. If we materially change our use of cookie-based analytics, marketing tags, or similar technologies, we will update this statement and any required consent experience.

Third-party destinations

If you choose to leave our site for an external service, that service may place its own cookies or use other tracking technologies under its own policies. Examples include Cal.com booking flows, GitHub, LinkedIn, X, and separate documentation properties.

How to manage cookies and storage

You can manage cookies through your browser settings and can clear local storage or site data from your browser at any time. Blocking some browser storage or technical cookies may affect how the site behaves. If you have a privacy or cookie question, contact privacy@rastro.ai.

Updates to this statement

We may update this Cookie Statement to reflect changes to the site, to our providers, or to applicable law. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date if appropriate.
